(WJET/WFXP) – A national organization recognized a local small business with a grant as part of winning an annual program.
Erie Cotton was announced as one of the winners of FedEx’s 12th annual Small Business Grants Program.
They received $20,000 in grant funding as well as a $500 print credit at FedEx Office, digital and technology consultation from the FedEx Digital Sales Solutions team, an invite to attend a Small Business Strategic Insights Forum, a feature on the FedEx Small Business Center and much more.
There were over 3,900 businesses that entered the Small Business Grant Program throughout the United States with one grand prize winner of $50,000.
Additionally, nine other small businesses, including Erie Cotton, received $20,000 each for a total of over $230,000 in grants and services.

Over the past 12 years, FedEx has had nearly 80,000 businesses enter the Small Business Grant Program and has awarded over $2 million in prizes.
